Attorney Michael B. Kelley practices in the areas of criminal defense, probate, and family law.  He is experienced in handling all phases of civil and criminal litigation and has served as lead counsel in felony jury trials and in appeals cases. He has significant experience in representing defendants in felony and misdemeanor matters before juvenile, municipal, and common pleas courts and is conscious of the personal sensitivities associated with these cases.   Mr. Kelley has worked with dozens of families in resolving child support, custody, and visitation issues and serves as a guardian for children and the elderly when appointed by the courts. Mr. Kelley handles cases throughout northwest Ohio, including Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin, Henry, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca and Wood counties. 

Mr. Kelley meets every client, oversees the progress of the case, remains available for ongoing office consultations, and does nearly all the legal research and writing for the practice.  He is actively involved with each case he handles.

Mr. Kelley is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Florida and is a member of the Wood County, Hardin County, Ohio State, and Florida Bar Associations.

Mr. Kelley is currently affiliated with Groth & Associates, LLC. Prior to joining the firm, he was in private practice in Bowling Green, Ohio and with Barnett, Barclay & Springmann in Orlando, Florida. He also has significant experience in the commercial bus manufacturing industry and in retail management.
